Warranty Terms

Guarantor: JSDRobot ("JSDRobot", "we", "us"). Guarantee recipient: You as the customer who purchased a product and/or related services from us or an authorized reseller.

This limited warranty by JSDRobot applies to JSDRobot products and related services (the "Warranty"). We grant this warranty in strict accordance with applicable laws. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights. By accepting these terms, purchasing or using our products or services, you confirm that you understand this warranty as a legally binding document and agree to its terms. Please read the entire content carefully. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not purchase or use our products or services.

Note: If you are a consumer, this warranty complements your rights under the applicable laws and regulations for the sale of consumer goods in your jurisdiction and does not limit, suspend, diminish or supersede them.

If any provision of this warranty is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

Scope of the warranty

Subject to the below "Policy for damage or defects not covered by the JSDRobot warranty", this warranty covers material and workmanship defects of JSDRobot products in their original packaging when used properly in accordance with JSDRobot guidelines. JSDRobot warrants that its products will substantially operate in accordance with the accompanying product documentation during the warranty period (see below) under intended and normal use.

This warranty applies only to JSDRobot products purchased directly through authorized JSDRobot distribution partners and in their original packaging ("JSDRobot Products"). It does not apply to products of other manufacturers, even if packaged or sold with JSDRobot products. Products purchased through unauthorized distribution channels, including used goods (even if the product is new), are excluded from this warranty. If you purchased your product from a third party that is not an authorized JSDRobot reseller, please refer to that reseller's warranty terms. This warranty also applies only in countries and regions where we deliver and provide support. JSDRobot makes no warranty that the operation of JSDRobot products will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Warranty period

The warranty period for JSDRobot products and services is two (2) years from the date your JSDRobot product is delivered by JSDRobot or our authorized distribution partners (the "Warranty Period"). If you are a consumer and our warranty period is shorter than the statutory warranty period required by the laws of your country or region, the longer statutory warranty period shall apply.

Repair terms

If your JSDRobot product shows a defect during the warranty period, JSDRobot will, at its sole discretion, either replace or repair it free of charge ("Warranty Service"), subject to the following conditions:

1. Requesting assistance: Please first follow the instructions under "Submitting a warranty claim to JSDRobot" to request our inspection and assistance.

2. Product inspection: Once we have received your JSDRobot product for warranty service (in accordance with the steps under "Submitting a warranty claim to JSDRobot"), it will be inspected by our customer service center. We may contact you during this process to obtain further information.

3. Outcome options: After inspection we will contact you with one of the following options:

Covered defect: If a defect is found in your JSDRobot product that is covered by this warranty, we will (at our discretion) repair or replace it free of charge and return the repaired or replacement product to you at our expense. No shipping or handling fees apply for repairs or replacements under this warranty.
Not a covered defect: If we determine that the defect is not covered by this warranty, you may use our paid repair service (plus shipping and handling fees) or request return of the original JSDRobot product (in which case shipping and handling fees will apply).
No defect found: If no defect is found, we will return the product and charge you shipping and handling fees.

The new warranty period for replacement parts or replacement products is 30 days (from receipt) or the remaining time of the original warranty period or any additional warranty period applicable in your country – whichever is longer.

Parts used in repair or replacement may not be identical to the original parts but will provide equivalent performance and functionality.

If your JSDRobot product or any part of it is replaced, the replacement product will become your property and the replaced product or part will become the property of JSDRobot. JSDRobot cannot guarantee that your JSDRobot product can be repaired without risk to your information and/or data or that a replacement product will contain information and/or data stored on your original JSDRobot product. For privacy reasons, your information and/or data may be securely erased. Therefore, please back up all information and/or data stored on your original JSDRobot product before sending it to us for repair or replacement. JSDRobot is not liable for damages that arise directly or indirectly from the loss or disclosure of your personal data and/or information if you have not backed up or erased such data from the returned product.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law in your jurisdiction, JSDRobot acknowledges only this warranty. This warranty and its terms are exclusive and replace all other warranties, remedies and conditions, whether oral, written, statutory, express or implied.

Except for the warranties expressly stated in this warranty and to the extent permitted by applicable law in your jurisdiction, JSDRobot excludes all other warranties and conditions, whether express or implied, statutory or otherwise, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and warranties and conditions against hidden or latent defects. In some states, provinces, jurisdictions or countries, the exclusion of such warranties is not permitted; therefore this disclaimer may not apply to you. To the extent such warranties are applicable under the law of your jurisdiction, they are limited to the warranty period. In some jurisdictions, limitations on the duration of an implied warranty are not permitted; therefore the above limitations may not apply to you.

After the warranty period expires, no express or implied warranties remain. In some jurisdictions, limitations on the duration of implied warranties are not permitted; therefore this limitation may not apply to you.

This warranty does not affect your consumer rights under purchase contracts with sellers. It is in addition to your rights under the consumer goods sale laws applicable in your jurisdiction and does not limit them.

Disclaimer: UNLESS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAWS OR REGULATIONS, AND REGARDLESS OF WHETHER JSDROBOT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, JSDROBOT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR ENHANCED DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH A JSDROBOT PRODUCT OR THIS WARRANTY. This includes, but is not limited to, lost profits, loss of use of the JSDRobot product during the warranty period, data loss or breach of confidentiality of information stored on the JSDRobot product, regardless of the type of claim, whether in contract, tort, strict liability or any other legal theory. JSDROBOT makes no warranty that JSDROBOT products can be repaired under this warranty. JSDROBOT's total liability is limited to the original purchase price of the product in question.

If the laws or regulations of your jurisdiction do not allow the exclusion or limitation of indirect, consequential or punitive damages, then the limitations or exclusions in this warranty may not apply to you.

Policy for damage or defects not covered by the JSDRobot warranty

To the extent prohibited by applicable law, the following cases are excluded from this warranty:

Claims after the warranty period has expired.
Missing warranty card, invoice or proof of purchase, or discrepancies between the information on the warranty card/invoice and the proof of purchase.
Damage due to improper handling, direct sunlight, contact with liquids, storage in a damp or extremely hot environment or other harsh environmental conditions, and use under extreme environmental conditions.
Damage from external influences, such as physical damage to the product or accessories (including but not limited to cracks or scratches on the surface of the product or accessories, screens or lenses).
Damage caused by failure to follow instructions in the user manual, maintenance or product adjustment.
Defects or damage due to improper handling of the product beyond normal use.
Unauthorized disassembly, repair or software updates by persons not authorized by JSDRobot.
Defects that are beyond JSDRobot's control.
Normal wear and tear of the product or accessories.
Faults in third-party apps not provided by JSDRobot (JSDRobot does not guarantee the error-free operation of computers or other devices connected to the product or accessories by JSDRobot).
Use of accessories not approved by JSDRobot.
The product has been resold (i.e., you are not the original purchaser).
You have reverse-engineered, decompiled or disassembled the product.
Use of the product in violation of applicable laws or your agreements with JSDRobot.
Failures or damage not attributable to product design, manufacturing or quality defects.
This warranty does not cover data loss; you are responsible for regularly backing up your data. Damage or costs related to data loss, data recovery, uninstallation and installation are excluded from this warranty.

Making a warranty claim with JSDRobot

If you detect a fault in products or accessories, please proceed as follows:

1. Consult resources: Refer to the user manual or visit our official website www.JSDrobot.com/FAQS to find relevant information that can help identify and resolve the problem.

2. Contact support: If problems cannot be resolved after reviewing the user manual or visiting the official website, you can contact us via the "Contact" section on the official JSDRobot website or by email at support@jsdrobot.com for further assistance and information.

3. Provide information: When contacting JSDRobot, please provide the following information via the "Contact" section on the official website or by email to support@jsdrobot.com:

a. Your product order.

b. The warranty card for the affected product according to your order.

c. A description of the defect, preferably with a video or photo if possible.

d. Ensure that your address and contact details have not changed since purchase, or provide your current address and contact details.

e. Please keep the original invoice, receipt or proof of purchase you received when purchasing the product. If you file a warranty claim within the warranty period, you must present valid proof of purchase. Otherwise, JSDRobot is not obliged to repair or replace the product under this warranty.

4.Return authorization: After you have completed the above steps, JSDRobot will first review the existence and nature of the problems you reported and will inform you, upon confirmation, about returning the defective products. You may need to prepay shipping, handling, insurance and other charges. Please pack returned products carefully to protect them from damage caused by impact, pressure or improper handling during transit. If the product is damaged due to improper packaging, the warranty claim will be void.

This warranty is a voluntary manufacturer's warranty and grants rights that are independent of statutory consumer rights, including but not limited to rights relating to faulty goods.
